OUR FOUNDER

Meryem FIKIRKOCA founded SmartAge Management Technologies and Consultancy on February 22, 2006, with an innovative and forward-thinking vision. She continues to lead the firm, which specializes in enterprise business solutions.

B.Sc. in Physics Engineering: Hacettepe University (1983).

M.Sc. in Solid State Physics: Specialized in Low-Temperature Physics (1983–1985).

Research Assistant: Hacettepe University (1983–1986).

TESTAŞ (Turkey Electronics Industry Inc.) | 1986–1991

  • Served as Chief Engineer at the Microelectronics Factory.

ASELSAN | 1991–2006

  • Held various senior roles in Corporate Governance, including Chief Quality Engineer, Quality Manager for Projects, and Department Manager.
  • Specialized in Quality Management, Design Quality, Software Quality, Strategy Management, and Corporate Performance Management.
  • 2003–2006: Established and directed a department reporting directly to the CEO and Board of Directors. She was responsible for:
    • Developing the company’s Strategy Management System.
    • Preparing the Strategic Plan.
    • Establishing the Corporate Performance Management System.
    • Integrating and streamlining the company’s overall management systems through lean methodologies.

  • Author: Published the book "Holistic Risk Management" (Bütünsel Risk Yönetimi) sponsored by KalDer.
  • Strategic Excellence: Attended the 5-day "Balanced Scorecard Summit" by Robert Kaplan and David Norton in Barcelona (2003).
